The Underground is dedicated to giving teenagers (ages 13-18) an oasis to play games and meet new people. Located in the Lower Pavilion Room, teens can gather from 6-10 p.m. Sunday-Friday to play Wii, Xbox, foosball and so much more. Come meet Lakeside’s two teen leaders Abby White and Connor Rowe in The Underground on Friday, May 27 from 6-10 p.m.

Abby White

Abby White is a rising senior at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa studying environmental sustainability and resilience with a minor in politics. Outside the classroom, White is also interested in linguistics and loves to spend her free time journaling and being outside. Her family has been vacationing at Lakeside since she was six years old, and she looks forward to spending her second summer in a row working for Lakeside.

Connor Rowe

Connor Rowe is a junior at Ohio Northern University (ONU) studying business management and account-ing. Rowe is a football player at ONU. He loves the outdoors and often enjoys hiking, camping and kayaking throughout the summer. A fact many don’t know about Rowe is that he is an Eagle Scout, which inspired his love for the outdoors. Last year, Rowe served as the Religious Life Intern at Lakeside and a lifeguard at the pool and you may see him doing both again.
