How did you hear about Lakeside, or what is your Lakeside story?

I heard about Lakeside from my classmate at BGSU – Firelands. She explained how she was interning for their marketing department for college credit. She expressed how much she enjoyed working for the association and how beautiful the location is.

What are you most looking forward to this summer at Lakeside?

I am looking forward to improving my design skills while working as the print/visual communications intern. I am also looking forward to meeting new people and participating in everything the community has to offer.

What do you hope to gain from this experience?

I hope to gain more knowledge about design and print production. I also hope to gain meaningful relationships with my fellow interns and Lakeside community members.

Name one goal you hope to achieve this summer.

One of my personal goals this summer is to try stand-up paddle boarding. It is on my bucket list and I am excited to have the opportunity to try it here.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

In my free time I enjoy being outside and being active. I love kayaking and being on the lake. I also enjoy running and walking through the woods.

What is one of your proudest moments or major accomplishments you have achieved thus far in life?

One of my proudest moments so far in life has been seeing my photographs published in print. For my previous internship I worked for the Sandusky Register as a photography and design intern. It was very exciting for me to see my own photos printed on the front page of a newspaper that reaches thousands of readers.

What is your dream job?

My dream job would be managing and creating social media content for a company I am passionate about.

Tell us a fun fact about you.

My family is from San Marino, Italy. My grandpa immigrated to America while he was a young man. I still have family in San Marino and keep in contact with them through social media such as Facebook. My family and I traveled to Italy several years ago to visit but I plan to take another trip after graduation.

How did you hear about Lakeside, or what is your Lakeside story?

Back in middle school my church had youth group retreats at Lakeside. I attended those every year I was able to. Once I got to high school we had our cross country camps here. We always stayed in Wo-Ho-Mis.

What are you most looking forward to this summer at Lakeside?

I am looking forward to being able to try new things, such as an art class, and learning a lot. Also, I look forward to the sunsets on the lake.

What do you hope to gain from this experience?

I hope to gain connections with the different individuals I work with. Also, I hope to get additional work for my portfolio.

Name one goal you hope to achieve this summer.

One goal I hope to achieve on the professional end is to do multiple design projects. My personal goal is that I really want to try an art class.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

In my free time, I like being able to go for a run as well as doing something like playing sports or going for a walk. On the other side I like being there for my family and supporting my brothers in everything they do.

What is one of your proudest moments or major accomplishments you have achieved thus far in life?

My proudest academic achievement is that I am 1 1/2 years ahead in my program which is known to be a 5-5 1/2 year program. My proudest athletic achievement is in high school I was a sub 6-minute miler with twelve varsity letters (4 cross country, 4 track and 4 music) making me the first girl in over six years with that time.

What is your dream job?

My dream job is any job that allows me to do what I love but allows me to have a personal life.
