How did you hear about Lakeside, or what is your Lakeside story?  I live about 25 minutes from Lakeside. I would come here with my family and friends during the summers to hangout, go swimming, play shuffleboard and of course, to EAT!

What are you most looking forward to this summer at Lakeside?  I am most looking forward to learning the different elements of what goes into business practices. I also love to paddle board, so I cannot wait to get out on the water!

What are some of your hobbies and what do you enjoy doing in your free time? During my free time I love to ride my horses, water ski, go camping, fish and spend quality time with my family and friends.

What is one of your proudest moments or major accomplishments you have achieved thus far in life? My major accomplishment I achieved thus far in life would be that I traveled to Peru on a medical mission trip my sophomore year of high school without my family. I lived there for a month without knowing the language very well. It was a great experience to learn and explore a different part of the world.

What is your dream job? I honestly do not know what my dream job would be. I know that I want it to be a job where I love going to work every day and enjoy what I do.

Tell us a fun fact about you. I was on an equestrian team in high school and received district and state titles my junior and senior years.

How did you hear about Lakeside, or what is your Lakeside story? I went on my senior Kairos retreat here and loved the relaxing atmosphere. It was a perfect place to end my senior year of high school! I also grew up spending my summers in Port Clinton…it’s actually where I learned to ride my bike. We would always drive by Lakeside on the way to the Kelley’s Island ferry or the lighthouse and if the gates were up we would stop and drive through. I love the area and I love the lake so when the opportunity opened I knew I would love it.

What are you most looking forward to this summer at Lakeside? Getting to come on a day off and enjoy Lakeside from a different perspective!

Name one goal you hope to achieve this summer. I’m pretty shy so I’m always looking to improve my verbal communication skills. So far, so good because everyone in Lakeside is pretty easy to talk to!

What are some of your hobbies and what do you enjoy doing in your free time? I love to do anything outside. I love swimming (even in the lake), walking or running with my dog, hiking, biking…I’ll try almost any outdoor activity. I also like to read, watch movies, color, play board games and do crafts when the weather isn’t cooperating.

What is one of your proudest moments or major accomplishments you have achieved thus far in life? When I found out I’d be graduating early. I graduated a semester early because of post-secondary options in High School and taking full semesters throughout college. It was not easy but I was so proud that I was able to accomplish that.

What is your dream job? Unrealistically, either being a writer or something that has to do with Harry Potter. Realistically, something that keeps me in the area, preferably near Lake Erie.

Tell us a fun fact about you. I would love to get my pilot’s license.
