Each year, the Lakeside Historic Preservation & Design Review Board (HP&DRB) selects recent cottage projects that exemplify noteworthy efforts to maintain and enhance the historic character of Lakeside. The homeowners were recognized at the Lakeside Property Owners Association meeting on Aug. 12.
HP&DRB wishes to extend its gratitude to the below homeowners for their sensitive cottage preservation or construction.
Ron Leffler Award for Preservation & Maintenance Using Original Materials: Todd & Jennifer Spieth (108 E. Fourth) and Roger & Patti Gilcrest (602 E. Second)
Cottage Renovation Award: Dave & Jacki Currie (543 Cedar) and Andy & Jen Gehrlein (177 Kenton Row)
New Construction Award: Lorna Thomas (600 Cherry)
