Bob Myers - CopyLakeside Chautauqua’s 10 a.m. Hoover Community Worship Service on Sunday, June 12 will be led by Bob Myers, a passionate youth and children’s minister. He will bring an authentic and charismatic message to the Youth Annual Conference, and all are welcome to attend.

Myers has been working with children’s and youth ministries for almost 20 years and first came to Chagrin Falls in 2002. His passion and enthusiasm has enabled him to provide exciting and engaging opportunities for young people to grow spiritually and socially while serving and having fun.

Growing up in Warren, Ohio, Myers was inspired as a student during Vacation Bible School, and later received his calling for ministry as teacher of Vacation Bible School.

He attended Youngstown State University where he received his bachelor’s degree in English education and served in youth ministry at Tod Avenue UMC, Church Hill UMC and Granger UMC before coming to Chagrin Falls UMC.

At Chagrin Falls UMC, his responsibilities include children’s and youth ministries, adult Christian education, communications and publicity, and occasional preaching.

When he is not serving the young people of Chagrin Falls UMC, he enjoys reading, cooking, singing and spending time with friends.
