For the second consecutive year, upgrades have been made at the Fountain Inn. This winter, new carpeting was installed in the lobby and second and third floor hallways. Young’s Carpet in Port Clinton installed the navy carpeting, which took about two weeks to complete.

Guests will also be welcomed by a new look in the Aigler Room. The walls of this meeting space were painted by Ty Trumbell and the Maintenance Crew, including Andrew Robinson, Peter Ladd, Jacob Church, Bob Strauss and Jeff Clemons. The wall in the front of the room is painted white, while the rest is gray to be more adaptable for rental needs.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity for our facilities to be improved for our guests, groups and employees.” Lakeside’s Conference & Events Manager Theresa Barger said. “The face lift of the Aigler Room creates a more welcoming atmosphere for many different activities to take place.”
